"Life is a series of surprises and would not be worth taking or keeping if it were not.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

I am always keen to learn about the interaction between the dynamic of nature (land, ocean, and air) and human being. During my time at the Chair in the Economics of Disaster Victoria University of Wellington, I worked on research projects concerning disaster risk transfer tool and impact of natural disaster on an economy. The first project investigated the applicability of a cost-effective index insurance to manage drought risk for rice sector in Indonesia. The second one analysed the impact of recurring weather shocks on households outcomes and the third one was to examine health and life satisfaction impact of weather extreme on adults. I apply where possible newly developed research methods combined with my 12+ years experience in agricultural complex sector (commercial and public).
