
ABOUT ME
After completing bachelor degree in social and economics of agriculture in Indonesia, I continued my master (M.Sc.) in the Netherlands majoring Economics, Environment and Policy at Wageningen University and Research Center. I started my professional experience in a non-profit research centre and then AAA-rated bank, which is focused on agriculture complex sector. Thereafter, I worked for almost ten years in public sector as a senior policy adviser of agricultural affairs (including fishery and forestry sector). Aiming to shape further my academic training, I continued my studies pursuing doctoral degree in economics at the School of Economics and Finance of Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) -completed in June 2019. For research and study support, I am affiliated as a scholar of the Chair in the Economics of Disasters (CED) of VUW. My research interests include, but not limited to, disaster risk management (specifically insurance), labour economics, quantitative geography and developmental economics in general.
